STEPHANIE BARRETT, LISW THERAPIST

Stephanie Barrett is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the state of Iowa. She graduated from Simpson College in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and St. Ambrose University in 2006 with a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW). She has been working with clients in health care and mental health settings since 2006. As a therapist, Stephanie has experience in the following areas: depression, anxiety, grief/loss, end-of-life issues, geriatric/aging, fertility issues, and mood disorders. Stephanie has a particular interest in women’s mental health, including perinatal and post-partum mood disorders, as she specialized in this population while providing therapy for a non-profit mental health agency

My treatment approach includes: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness Therapy.
